Nov. 21st, 2008 11:53 pmBased on multiple recipes
1½ c oat flour (made by milling about 2 cups of rolled oats)
½ tsp baking powder
½ c brown sugar
¾ Tbsp butter
1 egg
2 c milk
2¾ c rolled oats
Sift flour, baking powder, brown sugar (crush any lumps)
Cut butter into dry ingredients
Stir in egg and rolled oats
Stir in milk, taking time to make sure that flour and rolled oats have absorbed as much moisture as possible
Drop onto greased pan (about size of medium cookies)
Bake at 325°F for 15 mins
I'll probably make adjustments to the recipe as I go.
